ALEX Nagle and Sue Nolan won three rubbers and Izzey Crilley and Denise Burton two as Beechdown beat Waverley 5-1 in badminton’s Ladies Division of Four.
Gill Trimmer and Chris-Louise Estrada were the only visiting pair to win a rubber.
A couple of days later LoddonSherpas won 4-2 at Viking in the same division. Viking’s Julie Shawley was part of two winning rubbers, Jo Berry and Madeline Haddon each joining her in one.
Helen Wilcox was the most successful LoddonSherpas’ player winning all three of her rubbers. Debbie Hardcastle and Doreen Quilter played in two and Jenny Skilton one.
