DAVID Pratt picked up two top awards at Basingstoke Town’s end of season presentation evening.

The striker quickly became a favourite at the Camrose after moving from Chippenham last summer and was Basingstoke’s top scorer with 10 goals.

Pratt had already been announced as the supporters’ player of the year and he was awarded a second trophy by Frank Gray, who made the decision to give him the manager’s award as well.

Midfielder Tom Williamson was named players’ player of the year, while Jide Ogunbote’s performances during the season earned him the award for most improved player.

Gray decided to give the clubman of the year award to groundsman Ray Bulpitt in recognition of the work he has done to improve the playing surface at the Camrose.

Youth team boss Jason Bristow gave his manager’s player of the year award to defender Chris Foyle, while Ross Stringer was named as most improved player and Jake D’Anna won clubman of the year. Midfielder Simon Dunn won the players’ player of the year prize.

Reserve team players’ player of the year was Scott Kinge, while Marc Vockins won the manager’s award. Matt Madders was announced as the most improved player, while Stuart Urquhart won clubman of the year.
