BASINGSTOKE Town remain unbeaten under new boss Dan Brownlie after they drew 1-1 at sixth placed Mangotsfield United.

With AFC Wimbledon loan players Rueben Collins and Zach Robinson were away helping their parent club beat Met Police on penalties in London Cup.

Ben Wright also missed out due to injury and is doubt for Saturday's home game against Highworth Town, but Collins and Robinson will back as will skipper Dena Stow from suspension.

So Brownlie needed to shuffle his squad in Bristol with Riccardo Andrady, Mikey Davis and Reece Rusher coming in.

Mangotsfield started the better, but Chris Rackley kept the visitors in the contest as he denied Kristian Lee and Jack Wakefield.

Town best chance in the first 45 minutes came from Harrison Cliff as fires just wide from Claudio Herbert's cross.

Just four minutes into the second-half the home side took the lead thanks to Daniel Demkiv.

Town hit back and level things just after the hour mark as Andrady and Herbert combine for Mikey Davis to score from close range.

On 78 minutes, Town were reduced to 10 men as Ryan Suckling is shown a straight red card for a stamp on Marcus Kelly, which the assistant referee saw.

The visitors ended the game well despite being down to , but were unable to get the winner.

This Saturday, Basingstoke are at home to Highworth Town from Swindon at Winchester City.
