BASINGSTOKE Town have announced that they will host Football League side Wycombe Wanderers in a pre-season friendly at The Soccer AM Stadium.

The League Two play-off finalists will travel to Basingstoke on Tuesday, July 28, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

Town were due to travel to Winchester City on that date, but that fixture will now be rearranged.

Jason Bristow's men currently have a pre-season campaign consisting of six games.

They will begin with a home game against AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday, July 14, before hosting a Reading XI on Saturday, July 18.

They make the short trip to Fleet Town on Tuesday, July 21, before hosting Aldershot Town on Saturday, July 25.

The home game against Wycombe will be played three days later, and the Dragons will conclude their friendly fixtures with a trip to Leatherhead on Saturday, August 1, seven days before the National League South campaign begins.

Admission to all four of the friendly games will cost £6 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under-16s, with entry free for season ticket holders.
