JUSTIN Rose lost further ground on leader Thomas Bjorn at the PGA Championship at Wentworth, despite shooting a 70 (-2) on the third day of the event in Surrey.

This left the north Hampshire golfer on 213 (-3) for his first three rounds, which was three shots off a top 10 finish, but 12 shots behind Bjorn.

The north Hampshire started his third round eight shots behind the Danish leader and after firing a bogey on the opening hole, hit four straight birdie on his way to front nine score of 32 (-3).

Unfortunately, he then suffered a double bogey at 12th, but birdie at 14 and 15 got him back on track, before he dropped another shot at the last to match his opening round score of 70.
