JUSTIN Rose is seven shots off the lead going into the final round of his latest tournament The Players, at Sawgrass in Florida, which finishes today.
Germany's Martin Kaymer and American Jordan Spieth lead the way on 12 under par after three rounds.
Rose started the event in fine form as he posted a round of 67 (-5) which included six birdies.
The following day he had a very uneventful 18 holes, as hit 15 pars on his way to 71 (-1).
He looked set to card another 71 on Saturday, until a double bogey at the last cost him as he ended up on 211 for his first three rounds.
This left the north Hampshire golfer two shots behind leading Brit in the tournament Lee Westwood on seven under par.
