Right, I'm off home. Join me again on Tuesday night, when I'll bring you live coverage of Whitchurch United v Basingstoke Town in the Hampshire Senior Cup.
That result means Town are up to eighth in the Conference South table, just two points outside the top five.
A post-match interview with Basingstoke Town manager Jason Bristoe can be seen by clicking here.
Elsewhere, Reading went on to beat to beat Bolton 7-0, Kaspars Gorkss, Hope Akpan and Nick Blackman scoring for them in the second half.
A much-needed win for Town. They worked hard and took their chances to record a really good win.
Reaction to follow.
Eastbourne Borough 1 Basingstoke Town 3
A bit of desperate defending needed on the edge of the area but Town survive.
There will be four minutes of added time for Town to survive. Attendance here today is 511.
Adam Green has a go from a free-kick but it's way over.
Eastbourne Borough 1 Basingstoke Town 3 - Manny Williams pen (83)
MANNY WILLIAMS makes no mistake from 12 yards. Goalkeeper Craig Ross goes the right way but it's powerfully struck into the corner.
Jay Gasson is felled by a horrible, two-footed challenge on the edge of the area from Ollie Rowe and that's a penalty.
Basingstoke Town - Kezie Ibe on for Ben Wright (81)
Eastbourne Borough - Mani Akokhia on for Tom Derry (78)
Eastbourne Borough 1 Basingstoke Town 2 - Jack Deaman (75)
That's a bit easy, a corner being headed home by JACK DEAMAN from about 10 yards to get the hosts back in the game.
A mistake from Green defending a high ball in and that's a terrific challenge from Daly to deny Long a clear chance.
Basingstoke Town - Simon Dunn on for Louie Soares (75)
Basingstoke Town - Andrew Jenkinson on for Matt Partridge (72)
Another shot from range by Partridge but this time it is well over.
Matt Aldred - Eastbourne Borough
Aldred fouls Daly in midfield and is booked.
Partridge fires in a shot from 20 yards and that is not too far over the crossbar.
Eastbourne Borough - Darren Lok on for Charlie Gorman
I might be wrong, but I think Lok was the man who got the late winner when Eastbourne beat Town 1-0 last year. He's a striker, and he's come on for a midfielder.
Partridge puts the ball in for an unmarked Wright but he is unable to get hold of his acrobatic effort.
Derry cuts in from the right but Wells is down to claim his low cross-shot.
Good work down the Eastbourne left from Long but Derry is unable to get his header on target.
Chris Shephard cuts in from the Eastbourne right and smashes in a powerful shot. Louis Wells seemed to get a touch on that to push it over but the referee gives a goal-kick.
Soares nicks the ball in the Eastbourne half and beats a man before flashing a low ball across the face of goal, but there's nobody there to profit.
That should have been game over. Williams plays a lovely one-two with Wright on the edge of the area but can only lift his volley well over the crossbar. A big chance.
Good break from Town but the final ball is lacking.
Ben Wright - Basingstoke Town
Wright concedes a free-kick on halfway, kicks the ball away in frustration and is booked.
Good work by Louie Soares down the left but his shot from an impossible angle flies out for a throw.
Town force the first corner but David Ray is just beaten to Adam Green's ball in.
Eastbourne get the second half under way.
@BASINGSTOKE_FC Keep it going boys— @Threewheeling 18 January 2014
The players are on their way back out for the second half.
London Irish have won 49-0 away at Prato. Not sure it will be enough to take them through in the Amlin Challenge Cup though.
Reading are 4-0 up at half-time against Bolton Wanderers. Adam Le Fondre has a hat-trick and Pavel Pogrebnyak the other.
Southampton's scorers in their 2-2 draw with Sunderland were Jay Rodriguez and Dejan Lovran.
At Down Grange, Basingstoke RFC have lost 20-13 to Bury St Edmunds. Details can be found by clicking here.
It's not an unfamiliar story at half-time, but rather than dominating possession and missing chances, today Town are the side who have been clinical on the break and they lead 2-0 despite being on the back foot for long spells.
Eastbourne Borough 0 Basingstoke Town 2
A really good move by the hosts ends in a terrible cross from Lewis Tallack. He had plenty of time but skewed it behind for a goal-kick. Sums up the hosts' first half.
There will be three minutes of added time at the end of the half.
David Ray loops a header at goal but it's easy for the home 'keeper.
Eastbourne Borough 0 Basingstoke Town 2 - Shaun McAuley (38)
Town take a free-kick on halfway quickly and Ben Wright feeds the ball through for SHAUN McAULEY. He takes the ball around the goalkeeper and squeezes a powerful shot home from a narrow angle.
Eastbourne Borough - Stacy Long on for Gary Hart (34)
Hart has picked up an knock and has to be replaced by new signing Long.
That should have been an equaliser. A mistake by Jay Gasson gifted Tom Derry the ball in the penalty area and his pull-back just evaded Simon Johnson. However, it falls to Shepard at the far post but with Louis Wells out of position, the winger can only fire over from six yards out.
Good break from Town and Williams slips McAuley in behind. It's a great chance but the winger shoots wide of the near post.
Jack Deaman - Eastbourne Borough
Deaman catches Smart late and is booked.
McAuley lets fly from distance but it's well wide.
Smart and Daly conspire to give the ball away in a bad area and Eastbourne's Simon Johnson has the chance to let fly, his effort from 20 yards clipping the crossbar on its way over.
Good defensive header from Nathan Smart to cut out Derry's cross at the expense of a corner.
It's an excellent delivery but the hosts are unable to force the ball in.
The game is very open at the moment and the hosts have another shot, Tom Derry firing wide from the edge of the area.
Eastbourne have looked dangerous since going behind. Shephard didn't make proper contact on a shot from the edge of the area but did better when put in down the right.
He pulled the ball back but Gary Hart and Simon Johnson got in each other's way and the chance came to nothing.
Eastbourne Borough 0 Basingstoke Town 1 - Ben Wright (11)
McAuley's cross from the right is flicked on at the near post by Manny Williams and BEN WRIGHT is on hand to volley home the first goal of his second spell at his hometown club.
Eastbourne left-back Jack Deaman concedes a needless corner but goalkeeper Craig Ross is out to claim.
A half-hearted penalty appeal after a challenge by Adam Green, but the Town man seemed to get the ball there and the referee is not impressed.
Town are playing 4-4-2, with Louie Soares on the left and Shaun McAuley on the right. Eastbourne have lined up 4-5-1.
A poor touch from Wes Daly gifts Eastbourne possession in the Town half but Chris Shephard can only fire off-target from the edge of the box.
Matt Partridge - Basingstoke Town
A very early booking for Partridge after a heavy challenge. Don't bet against him picking up another one.
Town get the game under way.
The players make their way out onto the pitch to the sound of a brass band. Very fitting.
Elsewhere this afternoon, Basingstoke RFC's home game against Bury St Edmonds is already under way. Live coverage can be found by clicking here.
Southampton have already finished, drawing 2-2 at Sunderland, but they led 2-0 at one stage. Reading are hosting Bolton.
London Irish are also already under way. They lead Prato 35-0 in the Amlin Challenge Cup.
I'll let you know how things are going at half and full-time here.
Town have just left the field to carry out their final preparations.

Eastbourne Borough: Ross, Tallack, Gorman, Aldred, Rowe, Watts, Hart, Deaman, Derry, Johnson, Shephard. Subs: Akokhia, Levy, Long, Worrall, Lok.
Basingstoke Town: Wells, Smart, Green, Partridge, Gasson, Ray, Daly, McAuley, Wright, Williams, Soares. Subs: Dunn, Holder-Spooner, Rice, Jenkinson, Ibe.
Town manager Jason Bristow has made six changes to the side that performed so poorly on Tuesday.
Jordace Holder-Spooner, Kezie Ibe, Robbie Rice and Andre Jenkinson all drop to the bench, while Ross Adams and Neil Barrett are not involved at all.
Nathan Smart, David Ray, Wes Daly, Ben Wright, Manny Williams and Louie Wells, who makes his full debut, all come in, while Simon Dunn is on the bench after recovering from a dead leg.
Not sure exactly what the formation is. Expect it will be 4-4-2 but I'll let you know when the game gets under way.
Considering the weather that's been around, the pitch looks in very good shape. Unusually for this place, there's not much wind around either.
Good afternoon and welcome to live text coverage from Langley Sports Ground, where Basingstoke Town are the visitors to Eastbourne Borough in the Conference South.
