That's all for tonight everyone. Join me at Eastbourne on Saturday. Hopefully I'll have better news to report.

Uh oh, looks like the horrible part of Brighton is about to double over your boys.

And a fully deserved double it is too. Town were poor tonight but your boys showed good desire and work-rate. Play like that for the rest of the season and they should be alright.

Oh dear. That was as poor as Town have been all season and Whitehawk complete the double over them.

It's these sorts of results that explain why Town have been in this league for so long.

Reaction to follow.

Basingstoke Town 1 Whitehawk 3

Basingstoke Town 1 Whitehawk 3 - Alex Addai (90+2)

With Town pushing up, ALEX ADDAI breaks clear from halfway and slots past Louis Wells. The scoreline is probably a fair reflection on the game.

We are into stoppage time. Don't expect a miracle.

Whitehawk - Alex Addai on for Jake Robinson (88)

Town do not look like threatening tonight. Their passing has been dreadful and Whitehawk are bossing the game. Remember, they began the night third from bottom.

Sam Gargan looks like he might be in, but Rice makes a fine challenge to stop him running clean through.

Soares has looked good since he came on and that's a dangerous cross from the left that Winterton can only flap away.

Neil Barrett gives away a free-kick in a bad area and it's another chance for Fraser, whose effort hits the top of the Town crossbar on its way over.

A good run from Soares ends with a powerful low shot from 25 yards, which Winterton gathers at the second attempt.

Whitehawk - Sam Gargan on for David Da Silva (75)

Town are now playing 4-4-2, with McAuley on the left and Soares on the right. They haven't been able to get McAuley into the game today.

McAuley fires in a shot from the edge of the area but it is deflected wide.

Something needs to change soon.

Two more big chances for Whitehawk since the goal.

Mills took advantage of another mistake to run through. Wells made the save and it looked like the ball had looped in, but it had gone behind the goal.

Parsons then wriggled free on the edge of the area and fired narrowly wide, with Wells a spectator.

Basingstoke Town - Manny Williams and Louie Soares on for Jordace Holder-Spooner and Matt Partridge (67).

Basingstoke Town 1 Whitehawk 2 - Tommy Fraser (65)

Robbie Rice gives away a free-kick 25 yards out and that's a great strike from TOMMY FRASER. The ball goes over the wall and into the top corner of Wells' net.

Big trouble for Town.

Mills' flick has Parsons in behind the Town defence, but he can only fire into the side netting. A good chance.

Looks like Town are set to break, but Ibe messes up a five-yard pass to Jenkinson and the move breaks down. It's all the visitors at the moment. They are pinning Town back in their own half.

This is one of Town's worst performances this season so far. They are just so sloppy tonight.

Adam Green - Basingstoke Town

A clear booking as Green clears out a Whitehawk player. Not sure why he is complaining.

A dangerous ball in from the left has Town panicking. Matt Partridge puts the ball behind for a corner, from which a free header is put wide.

Whitehawk have made by far the better start to the second half.

'Whitehawk is in Brighton. The horrible part of Brighton.' - nice journalism. Where is the 'report this post' link?

Apologies to anyone who took offence. A light-hearted joke.

Danny Mills gets up to meet a cross from the right but his header is never troubling the Town goal and flies over.

The ball breaks to Robbie Rice on the edge of the area but he is unable to keep his left-foot shot down.

No changes at the break by the way. Let's hope that doesn't mean more of the same in terms of quality.

Whitehawk get the second half under way. I'd venture that the next goal will be vital, quite possibly the winner.

Here come the players ready for the second half.

I'm guessing geography was not your favourite subject at school. Whitehawk is in Brighton. The horrible part of Brighton, so I suppose it does resemble Portsmouth.

A pretty dreadful first half in terms of quality and entertainment. Both goals have come from dreadful errors, which just about sums it up.

I feared for Town when they went behind, because Whitehawk are notoriously good game spoilers.

They need to improve in the second half. Save for a five minute spell just after they scored, it hasn't been good enough.

Basingstoke Town 1 Whitehawk 1

Inches away from Matt Partridge, who is given the time to shoot from 25 yards. It's a great effort and Winterton is well beaten, but the ball hits the underside of the crossbar and bounces away to safety.

Town have gone off the boil again and Wells is called into action. It's so simple as Hills plays the ball up to Mills. He manages to turn on the edge of the area but his shot is fired straight at Wells, who beats it away.

The rain is getting steadily harder. The pitch looks okay at the moment but we could do without a downpour.

Adam Green does well down the left and his cross almost brings about a second Town goal. Cadmore's clearance hits Ibe on the head and ricochets narrowly over.

Town have upped the tempo since scoring and look a far better side. They are really posing problems now.

Basingstoke Town 1 Whitehawk 1 - Kezie Ibe (33)

Another horrible error at the back and we are level here. This time Whitehawk's Tom Cadmore makes a total mess of either a back-pass or a pass across the field.

Either way, it's straight to KEZIE IBE, who calmly sidefoots past Winterton to level.

Better from Town. A decent cross is only cleared as far as Jenkinson and it takes a good block to stop him getting a shot on target.

The resulting corner falls to Holder-Spooner on the edge of the area but he fires well wide.

However, the corner leads to another chance for Whitehawk. Again Robinson causes problems before feeding Lee Hills, who blasts well over from the edge of the area.

Close for Town as the ball loops up and seems to be heading for the top corner until Winterton palms it wide.

Whitehawk - Alex Parsons on for Richard Rose

Matt Partridge - Basingstoke Town

Partridge goes into the referee's notebook following a late challenge down the Whitehawk right.

Basingstoke Town 0 Whitehawk 1 - Danny Mills (21)

And it's an awful goal to concede. Town had a dangerous free-kick out wide but Whitehawk managed to clear and broke through Jake Robinson.

It looked like the danger was over when the ball fell to Robbie Rice midway inside the Town half but his ill-judged attempt at a back-pass fell well short and Robinson was clean through.

Louis Wells did his best but DANNY MILLS was in support and Robinson squared the ball to give him a tap-in.

It's not been a great start to the match, with both sides making too many mistakes.

The hosts haven't hit their tempo yet. The pitch isn't helping but the passing is a bit slow, meaning they are having to go direct more often than they would like.

Whitehawk are happy to sit back and let Town have the ball in their own half, but they close down quickly once they get over halfway.

Town break and nearly grab the lead, the ball just evading McAuley after good play from Ibe. He only needed to get a touch and that was 1-0.

They work a decent short corner routine and Town are thankful that Green's slice goes straight to goalkeeper Wells.

The first corner of the match goes to the visitors.

Whitehawk's Mills puts in a dangerous low cross but Wells is out to gather before Robinson can get on the end of it.

Good play down the left between Holder-Spooner and Jenkinson, but  they fail to carve out a chance.

Whitehawk are playing 4-4-1-1, with David Da Silva playing just off lone striker Danny Mills, who looked a decent player when the sides met in Sussex earlier in the season.

A good ball from Matt Partridge has Kezie Ibe in behind the Whitehawk defence but goalkeeper Chris Winterton is out quickly to make a vital tackle just outside the area.

Town are operating a midfield diamond, like they did on Saturday. Matt Partridge is at the base and Shaun McAuley is just behind the front two.

Town get the game under way. They will defend the Clubhouse End of the ground in the first half.

Here come the players. Not long to wait now.

There really are not many people here tonight. Can't say I blame them. I have a heater in this state of the art press box. The unfortunate souls outside are not so lucky.

The players are in getting their final instructions. The pitch looks okay, but it's cutting up pretty badly just in front of me on the halfway line.

It's just starting to rain. Not what we need.

Town have signed a new player today. Young goalkeeper Billy Granger, who used to play for Spurs, has signed on non-contract terms.

He is likely to start in the Hampshire Senior Cup at Whitchurch next Tuesday. Louis Wells will be rested, while Joe McDonnell has a dislocated finger.

Town go into the game 11th in the table, five points outside the play-off positions. Whitehawk sit third from bottom, two points from safety.

Basingstoke Town: Wells, Rice, Green, Barrett, Gasson, Adams, Jenkinson, McAuley, Ibe, Holder-Spooner, Partridge. Subs: Daly, Williams, Smart, Soares, Ray.

Whitehawk: Winterton, Rose, Hills, Maher, Lawrence, Cadmore, Robinson, Mills, Richens, Da Silva, Fraser. Subs: Addai, Parsons, Gargan, Freeman.

Town make three changes to the side that drew with Bath on Saturday. Adam Green returns after suspension and Kezie Ibe and Jordace Holder-Spooner come in up front.

Ben Wright's ankle injury rules him out, while Manny Williams and Wes Daly drop to the bench. Andrew Jenkinson will play in midfield.

Whitehawk feature former Aldershot striker Jake Robinson.

Good evening and welcome to live coverage of Basingstoke Town v Whitehawk from the Camrose. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
