THE annual tennis tournament in remembrance of Julian Lance and Rhys Roberts took place at the Hampshire Court Hotel.
This popular and well supported event was played in an American mixed doubles format which allowed everyone to play a minimum of 24 games.
Andy Nicholls and Jayne Crowley ended up the eventual winners as they beat Mike Fox and Lesley Miotto in a hard-fought final.
A prize-giving dinner followed the tennis along with a draw for the many raffle prizes.
The event raised £1,290 which will be split equally between two charities St Michael’s Hospice and Diabetes UK.
Organisers Sue Lance and Alison Stent would like to thank everyone who supported the event and donated so generously.
They would also like to thank the Hampshire Court Hotel and their staff for their continued support and help with hosting the event.
