Bison suffer narrow defeat to Slough Jets

THE Basingstoke Bison will have to come from behind to reach the final of the English Premier Cup after a narrow defeat to Slough Jets.

The Berkshire side beat the Herd 3-2 at The Hanger last night in the first leg of the semi final.

The Jets were 2-0 up by the end of the second period but Greg Chambers pulled one back after the restart.

Bison fell further behind minutes later only for Greg Owen to score towards the finish.

The second leg will take place in Basingstoke on Wednesday, February 20.
