Bins - your Basingstoke and Deane update

Bins - your Basingstoke and Deane update

First published in News

PUT your bins back if they have not been emptied this week.

That is the advice now issued by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. It is saying that after bin crews worked late into the evening this week, there are only a few places where the bins have not been tackled because of the road conditions.

But if your rubbish or recycling bins have not been collected, you are advised to return them to your property until the next usual collection day.

If anyone has extra rubbish because of a missed collection, they can put this in a bag and place it next to the bin on the collection day. Extra recycling accumulated for the same reason can also be put alongside a recycling bin on the next normal recycling collection day.

Those in need of an extra, clear recycling sack can call the borough council on 01256 844844.
