MORE than 300 children sent in Christmas card designs for a competition run by a Basing-stoke-based employer.
The AA competition was open to children and grandchildren, aged under 10, of employees from across the country.
Felix Guy, aged six, claimed the top prize of £150 in Toys R Us vouchers for his colourful design of a festive scene. His design will be adopted as the Basing View-based firm’s Christmas e-card, which will be sent to thousands of customers and suppliers.
Flynn Carrington-Williams, aged seven, came second, and will receive £75 of Toys R Us vouchers, and third-placed Felix Hodgkinson, aged six, will receive £25 of vouchers.
Judges Nicola Ranson, Gavin Greene, Lorna Catling and Carla Greco took 30 minutes of studying the designs to find a winner.
Lorna, from the AA press office, said: “The standard was really high and it was hard to choose an overall winner. We think we picked the best one, and hopefully all the winners will have a great Christmas.”
