BASINGSTOKE Voluntary Services is holding a Christmas charity fayre in the town centre next Thursday.

More than 20 voluntary groups will be represented at the annual fayre, and they will be selling charity goods, Christmas cards and gifts and other festive goodies in The Malls throughout the day.

The event will also feature a performance by the Carnival Chorus, the choir of the Basingstoke and Deane Over-55s Forum. All stallholders will be dressing up in costumes based around the theme of musicals and The Malls is sponsoring cash prizes for the top three best dressed groups or stalls.
