Educational charity to launch new courses in Basingstoke next month
AN EDUCATIONAL charity is launching a number of courses in Basingstoke next month.
The Basingstoke branch of Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) is offering courses to residents on historic houses of the South Downs, an introduction to the movies, art appreciation, Mozart, and the works of Robert Louis Stevenson.
The educational, not-for-profit charity is run by volunteers and charges for courses only cover the room booking and tutor expenses.
Courses will be held at the United Reformed Church, in London Street, on weekdays at 2pm.
