Class of '85 hold school re-union
FORMER Whitchurch students reunited last weekend.
Testbourne’s class of ’85 event saw former students of the Whitchurch School come from all over the country to meet up with old school friends. Some of the former students even travelled from their homes in Switzerland and Atlanta USA just to attend.
One of the event’s organisers, Tara Harding, said: “It was wonderful seeing people suddenly recognise each other after 32 years and then throwing their arms around each other was quite emotional.”
The class of ’85 raised £100 from the event for Kingfisher Day Care in Laverstoke in memory of former pupils who have passed away.
