READERS have been sending in their best pictures of last night's snow.

From 4.40pm until approximately 6pm yesterday, light snow fell on Basingstoke.

Residents can be seen making snowmen and throwing snowballs.

Earlier today, the Met Office issued a yellow warning for people to be aware of ice.

The Met Office added: “Ice is expected to form on untreated surfaces on Thursday night and last into Friday morning.

“Ice will lead to the risk of disruption with difficult driving conditions and expect longer journey times.

“The greater risk of disruption is across the Midlands, East Anglia and southeast England.”
