STUDENTS from Basingstoke College of Technology’s Crystal Palace Football Club (CPFC) Foundation academy were given the chance to see what professional football is all about a special tournament held by the Premier League club.
During the tournament, Students were able to gain an exclusive insight into the backroom scenes of a major football club, as well as take part in an eight-team competition in front of CPFC scouts.
Former Palace star Mark Bright said: “We have been able to look at 120 young players and also give them a great insight into CPFC Academy life.”
Trials dates to play in the BCoT and CPFC Academy are on January 24 and March 7, between 4.30pm and 6pm at Down Grange Astroturf, Pack Lane, and on May 2 at Mays Bounty, Fairfields Road.
