A HOOK nursery school has been graded as “outstanding” by Ofsted.
Heather Rabbit Nursery, based at Heather Row Cottages in Nately Scures, was visited by the education watchdog on July 9, and a report published on July 30 said: “The achievement of all children is outstanding.
Regardless of starting points or any barriers to learning, each child receives the care and support they need to make excellent progress.
Ongoing checks mean that everyone is challenged to move on in their learning when ready.”
It is the second time in a row the nursery has been graded as “outstanding” – it received the top grading following an inspection in 2011.
Inspector Melissa Cox noted in the latest report: “Children play extremely well together and show exemplary attitudes to learning. Their behaviour is excellent. Whether they are working with an adult or by themselves.”
