A MAN was left with injuries including a suspected broken jaw and a dislocated shoulder after an early morning assault.
An altercation involving two men took place between 1am and 1.30am on Saturday, 30 September in Grove Road, Basingstoke.
Police believe a baseball bat was used by one of the men on the other, which left a 20-year-old man with a suspected broken jaw, a dislocated shoulder and deep cuts to his head.
The 20-year-old has since been discharged from Basingstoke Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
A 26-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released under investigation.
Police have urged anybody who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard a disturbance to get in touch with them.
