Hundreds stolen from property in Oakley
A WHISKEY bottle containing £400 has been stolen from a property in Oakley.
After returning from a four-day break between the evening of October 6 and October 10 a couple found that the bottle, which had approximately £400 worth of coins in it, had been taken from their property near St Johns Road.
Police said the bottle is heavy and could have been dumped without its contents nearby.
An amount of jewellery was also stolen.
If anyone sees the bottle they should not touch it.
