SCAMMERS claiming to be from Apple and Microsoft have targeted Hampshire residents.
Hampshire Constabulary say the scammer claiming to be from Microsoft says to victims there has been a breach of security on their devices and then ask to gain remote access to fix it.
As part of this the scammers ask for a fee which the victim pays via their post office using moneygram.
At the same time there have been reports of scammers claiming to be from Apple emailing people that there has been a transaction on their account and asking people to verify their Apple ID.
