A MAN was airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Basingstoke last night.
Police were called at 12.32am to Margaret Road, in South Ham, to a report that a 43-year-old local man had been stabbed and was outside an address along the road.
He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish how the man was injured.
No arrests have been made at this stage of the investigation.
