Police warn of suspicious activity
POLICE are warning residents of a Basingstoke village to be vigilant of any suspicious activity.
The warning comes after reports of a man scouting vehicles on driveways in Ibworth Lane, Hannington.
When approached, the man stated he was interested in buying and selling cars.
Police are warning residents to keep an eye out for a white male of heavy build, approximately 5ft 7ins, with thinning hair about 60-years-old wearing a black t-shirt and black trousers.
The man was spotted in the area around 1.30pm on April 2.
If anyone saw anything suspicious they are urged to contact Basingstoke CID on 101 quoting 44160126190.
