A TEENAGE boy suffered a broken jaw after being assaulted near a Basingstoke underpass.

The 17-year-old was passing between Halliday Close and the underpass that leads to Cranbourne Business and Enterprise College on Tuesday at 9.30pm when he was attacked by three unknown males.

The victim was left with a double fracture in his jaw, for which he needed surgery.

It is thought there were people in the school building at the time who may have information about this assault.
