THIS IS an e-fit image of a man police want to speak to after a young girl in Basingstoke was inappropriately touched as she walked to school.

A 15-year-old girl was walking to school with her sister between 8.15 and 8.30 on May 14 when a man walked past her and touched her inappropriately in Highpath Way, Rooksdown.

The man is described as white, aged between 45 to 50-years-old, between 5ft 11ins to 6ft tall, of a tall, thin build with a long face and strong eyebrows and dark blonde hair which was thinning on top.

He was wearing a Superdry waterproof coat with a bright green Superdry logo on the back, loose fitting blue or grey jeans and rectangular rimless glasses with silver metal arms and nose bridge.

PC Lee Skinner from the Northern Investigation Team said: “Although the victim was not harmed the incident has understandably left her very upset.

“I understand that there will be some concern within the local community about what has happened but we believe it is an isolated incident.

“If you recognise the man in the picture or you were in the area at the time and saw someone acting suspiciously then please contact me.

“We are also looking to speak with anyone who has CCTV on their property which might cover the Highpath Way area.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Skinner from the Northern Investigation Team by phoning 101 quoting 44150162644.
