TWO men accused of attacking a police officer near Hartley Wintney have been arrested.
A 27-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were arrested by Devon and Cornwall Police for unrelated offences, Hampshire Constabulary said.
The men had been wanted by police in Hampshire after they were stopped in a car on the A30, between Blackbushe Airport and Blackwater, to the east of Hartley Wintney, on Monday, January 12 this year.
The men were accused of attacking an officer before running away. They were wanted by police in connection with offences including assaulting a police officer, going equipped for theft and shoplifting.
