FOUR people, including a 14-year-old boy, have been arrested and bailed on suspicion of a poaching offence.
They were arrested in fields near Rotherwick after a police manhunt that involved the use of a search helicopter.
A farmer raised the alarm at 7.15pm last night when he saw lights in his field off the B3349 Reading Road.
The National Police Air Service helicopter crew from Benson in Oxfordshire said on its Twitter account that it helped locate four people, who were arrested by 8.30pm.
A 19-year-old man from Basingstoke, a 16-year-old boy from Yateley, a 16-year-old boy from Hartley Wintney and a 14-year-old boy from Yateley were arrested on suspicion of trespassing on land at night to take or destroy game.
They have been bailed until February 15 at Aldershot police station.
