AN ENGAGEMENT ring and a passport were among the items stolen during a burglary on the Berg Estate.
The thief broke into a house in Brackley Way between 2pm and 8pm on Saturday, January 10.
Among the items stolen were a gold wedding band, a gold engagement ring, a gold eternity ring and two bracelets. The thief also took cash and a passport.
PC David Catchpole said: “This happened during the day and into the evening so there is a chance that there may have been people in the area.
“The woman who lives at the address has had a number of items of jewellery stolen, many of which hold great sentimental value.”
Anyone with information can contact PC Catchpole at Basingstoke police station on 101, quoting 44150010801, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
