OFFICERS are trying to trace the owner of a circular saw, after arresting a man on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
Police said the blue Metabo circular saw was seized in the St Michael’s Road area of South Ham, Basingstoke, this week.
A man aged in his 30s and from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and is now on police bail until the end of September pending further enquiries.
Police have released a picture of the saw. Anyone who recognises it is asked to call PC Kersten Studd at Basingstoke CID on 101.
