THE search is on for three “culture-all families” to be ambassadors of all things cultural in Hampshire.

Each of the three will win a culture-all passport from Hampshire County Council, worth £69, which gives up to four people free entry to all the council’s cultural attractions for one year.

The prize also includes a digital camera and a professional photo session.

The “culture-all families” will become investigative journalists for a year as they visit farms, country parks, museums and arts centres across the county and report back to the world about their experiences via the culture-all website.

Councillor Margaret Snaith-Tempia, executive member for culture and recreation at Hampshire County Council, said: “Winning is a great way to get the whole family out and about every month and to visit the council’s exciting cultural attractions.

“It is an opportunity to get people of all ages writing about their experience and giving others handy hints and tips about their day out. We are keen to hear from all types of families, which can include grandparents, mums, dads, carers, kids and stepfamilies.”

To be in with a chance of winning, visit the website hants.gov.uk/culture-all. Entrants must explain why they think their family should be a culture-all family in no more than 100 words and describe a holiday or excursion that the family has been on and what it was like, in no more than 500 words.

Lastly, let the county council know what your family’s hobbies and interests are and email a recent family photo. Entry to the competition closes at noon on Thursday, June 24.
