Sir.I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the residents of Winklebury and Worting for their support in the recent election.

It is an honour and privilege to be elected to serve the people of Winklebury and Worting as their councillor.

I also wish to remind people that their councillors are there to serve them so please do not hesitate to contact me either on cllr.robert.donnell@basingstoke.gov.uk or by post via the council offices in Basingstoke.

Winklebury residents have made it clear that they want to Save Manydown and create a brighter Basingstoke.

Together with a new Conservative administration, I will work to deliver what the residents of Winklebury and Worting want and deserve.

Thank you to everyone who helped me in the election campaign. It truly was a team effort.

Cllr Robert Donnell,
borough councillor for Winklebury ward.

  • Sir.I would like to thank all the borough council officers with whom I worked as recreation and culture portfolio holder since October 2003.

I appreciated their willing support and they gave me their best attention at all times.

The change of regime on the borough means I shall no longer be working with this great team of dedicated people.

It has been a real pleasure to work with them and I wish them all success for the future.

Cllr Alison Wall,
borough councillor for Whitchurch ward.
