Sir.–We are writing to let your readers know that our 40s-plus social friendship group has started up. We would welcome hearing from the 50s and 60s age range as well.
The group is designed to bring the above ages together to widen friendships and improve social life, by way of pub and club meetings, house parties, barbecues and more in the planning stages. We would like to put the word out, especially as Christmas is approaching, which can be a lonely time for some.
