THIS year's Christmas Basingstoke panto Sleeping Beauty promises to be a extravaganza with stunning sets, top musical hits, fantastic costumes and will star a familiar face.

Martin Dodd for UK Productions and Anvil Arts proudly presents the pantomime at The Anvil from Thursday, December 12 to Sunday, January 5.

Making a very welcome return to Basingstoke once again is Chris Pizzey, who is playing the comic role of Lester the Jester. Best known as Mr Stephen in the CBBC series Basil Brush, Chris is back in Basingstoke by popular demand.

The fabulous family pantomime promises a laugh-a-minute extravaganza with stunning sets, top musical hits, fantastic costumes, and exciting special effects to keep both young and old entertained.
