The business posted on its Facebook page: “We're beyond words, speechless with gratitude and so very thankful for your unwavering support and love. This incredible journey wouldn't be possible without YOU!”

The Parlour Tearoom is a family-run traditional English tearoom nestled inside an old milking parlour.

The cafe was established back in 2010 and experienced a change of ownership in March 2017 when mother and daughter Lucy and Sharon Fisher took the reins of the business and made it into the tearoom.

Celebrating the awards, Lucy said: “We're very proud and thrilled to receive the best traditional tearoom award for the second year in a row. It's truly a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team here.

“We take great pride in being recognised for our homestyle baking – that we obviously do all in-house here.

“We are immensely grateful to our loyal customers for their continued support and to the judges for recognising our efforts. This achievement inspires us to continue striving for perfection and to uphold the standards."
