THEATRE lovers are encouraged to come along to a whole host of family shows at Basingstoke's theatres this half term.

On Thursday, February 15, there is the Comedy Club 4 Kids at The Haymarket at 2pm. The performance is around an hour long, and suitable for anyone aged six and over.

Enjoy the best stand-ups and sketch acts from the international circuit as they do their thing for an audience of children and their families. The show is family-friendly, but without any patronising idiocy. In fact, it's just like a normal comedy club, but it's on in the day and kids are allowed in.
