Music will range from up tempo military marches to big band blues and from The Corps of Drums to a James Bond theme music medley.

Captain Trudgeon, a proud Cornishman, joined the Royal Marine Band Service in 2000 as a percussionist.

During this time, he has performed many solos at high profile events, including the Mountbatten Festival of Music, and travelled extensively around the world.

Captain Trudgeon played a key role in the newly-revived Royal Marine Big Band called The Oceanaires when he directed the band for their first concert in over 30 years.

He joined the Collingwood Band as their director of music in August 2023.

Bandmaster for the concert will be WO2 Jamie Gunn who joined the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines in January 2023. He was privileged to be part of the main procession band for the Coronation, something which was undoubtedly one of the proudest moments in his career so far.

One of the high lights of the concert, the appearance of members of the Chelsea Pensioners will as usual be honoured guests at this years.
