At least half of the pupils at more than 85 per cent of Basingstoke primary schools are meeting the expected standard in education, new data has shown.
The primary school league tables have been released based on the SATs results from 2023.
It is the first time the Government has released primary school performance data since the Covid outbreak.
The figures show how well schools performed in the SATs exams and also reflect progress made while children are at primary school.
Our Year 6 primary school pupils sit the exams in the summer before they move on to secondary school.
These tests, alongside teacher assessments of English writing and science, are used to measure school performance and to make sure pupils have the support that they need.
We took a look at the data, which was released last month, to see how schools in and around Basingstoke and Deane are ranked.

The top performing school was Sherborne St John Church of England Primary School, an Ofsted-graded good school, where 88 per cent reached the required standard for reading, writing and maths. Nearly a fifth of pupils are reaching a higher standard.
This is followed by North Waltham Primary School where 87 per cent of pupils have met the required standard. At the Ofsted-graded good school, 13 per cent of pupils are reaching the higher standard.
Preston Candover Church of England Primary School is the third top-performing school, with 79 per cent of pupils reaching the standard for reading, writing and maths. According to the data, 14 per cent of pupils are achieving a higher standard.
