A NEW shop is opening in Basingstoke’s Festival Place called Rituals.

Rituals confirmed that it will open in the shopping centre on January 18, taking over an empty unit previously occupied by Joules.

The unit was meant to be taken on by Ted Baker last year, but the clothing brand pulled out of the deal.

Rituals describes its products as “helping you slow down, and to find happiness in the smallest of things”.

It adds: “It is our passion to turn everyday routines into more meaningful moments.”

The sustainable beauty brand sells a range of products including reed diffusers, scented candles, room sprays, aromatherapy diffusers, body care, skincare, perfumes and makeup.

Its high-quality products have been carefully formulated to be safe for skin and kind to the planet, with ingredients that are responsibly sourced.

It also offers refills, with a commitment to plant, protect or restore a tree for every refill sold. It is committed to making all of its packaging refillable, recyclable or made of recycled materials.

Rituals’ products are inspired by “the wisdom and traditions of ancient cultures” offering a range of luxurious but affordable home and body cosmetics.

Its aim is to “enrich your life using signature fragrances that are carefully designed and composed by the world’s finest perfumers”.

Rituals launched its first store in 2000 now has more than 600 in 27 countries. The nearest stores to Basingstoke are in Reading, Guildford, Southampton and Portsmouth.
