Basingstoke Rugby Club celebrated its 75th anniversary earlier this year with the women’s team re-established in 2016.

Sheree Cooper, chair of the team, playing at Basingstoke RFC said: “We are delighted to have InstaVolt on board this season sponsoring the ladies section.

“Their sponsorship has helped us purchase a new playing kit - they had been using their old kit since 2017. This new kit has also been purchased in women's fit, so they feel more comfortable when playing.

“The women's game is currently growing ahead of the rugby World Cup and the women’s  section at Basingstoke is trying to rebuild their numbers as they have been struggling since covid and having a sponsor like InstaVolt behind them in this process is vital.

“We also want to say a huge thank you to the team of InstaVolt volunteers that came along to help clean-up the club – they did a great job and we really appreciate it!”
