STAFF facing redundancy from retailer Wilko are being given a boost with the offer of a free meal.
BrewDog, which has a branch in Festival Place, Basingstoke, is offering Wilko staff who have been made redundant a free meal or pint at one of its venues.
As previously reported, the Basingstoke branch of Wilko, in The Malls, is expected to close in October after administrators failed to find a buyer for the high street retailer.

Wilko has begun shutting some of its 400 stores this week, with the rest expected to close by early October, resulting in a possible 12,500 job losses.
BrewDog has offered support to staff impacted with the offer of a free meal or pint at any of its locations, including at the Basingstoke branch.
The offer is valid from September 4 to September 16 to any individual who has lost their job at Wilko.
