BASINGSTOKE Town FC's FA Cup first qualifying round fixture has been confirmed.

'Stoke will face AFC Stoneham in a Hampshire derby, on Sunday, September 3.

Dan Browlie's men will take a journey down to Stoneham Lane Football Complex, where they will take on the side who currently play in the Wessex Premier League.

In a statement on the club's website, Brownlie said: "As luck would have it, we’ve watched AFC Stoneham a couple of times already this season.

"They’ve got some real quality, especially in high areas.

"It’s set up to be a great local game and a ground that our supporters won’t have visited in some time if at all.

"Hopefully we can travel in good numbers and make it a real occasion.

"El Hampshire FA Estadio Classico awaits!"

'Stoke currently sit 14th in the Southern League Premier South, following a comfortable 5-0 victory against Harrow Borough at the weekend.

The Dragons will travel to face Didcot Town on Saturday, August 26, for their next league game.
