BASINGSTOKE Town FC have announced that two fan-favourites have re-signed for next season.
Simon Dunn and Paul Hodges, who were instrumental in their treble-winning campaign have extended their contracts for another season.
Skipper Simon Dunn will also retain the armband as 'Stoke prepareΒ to kick off the next season in style.
Hodges, who joined 'Stoke in January, made a "huge impact" according to manager Dan Brownlie, who in a post on Basingstoke Town FC's Twitter account said:Β "fans will love watching him."
Both signings were announced on the club's social media page with humorous videos.

Dunn's paid homage to the fan's classic to the tune of the Imperial March from Star Wars, with a clip of R2D2 projecting an interview of the Club Captain in holographic form.
Hodges' on the other hand, featured some impressive musical ability.

It showed the fan favourite playing The Beatles' 'Yellow Submarine' on guitar - a song synonymous with the 'Stoke - cleverly edited into a scene from 'The Office'.
Some important recruitment to lay the foundations for next season.
