The theme for the Basingstoke Gazette Camera Club in April was 'things that make me smile', and we have selected some of our favourite photos to share.

Now that spring has officially sprung, members have shared the things that bring them joy for the month's theme, creative and colourful photos of beautiful sights and animals were submitted on Facebook.

From cuddly pets to the most colourful flowers, our members have been hard at work in and around the town.

Our members have shown us pets, wildlife, flowers, sunsets and the forces of nature.

It's never easy for us to choose 18 photos from all the submissions this month, but we have picked some highlights to share and have loved seeing all the photographs posted on the Facebook page.
