Students of Queen Mary’s College (QMC) received their long-awaited A-level results on Thursday, August 18, that would determine their next steps.
Their excitement was mixed with nervous energy as they prepared to open their envelopes alongside their parents, teachers and classmates with whom they have shared so much and developed strong friendships.

QMC is celebrating 99 per cent A-level pass rate, 57 per cent of them scoring A*-B grades and 81 per cent getting A*-C.
This year the occasion is particularly special as these students have had no formal external exams during the whole of their school experience and their year 11 was cut short due to lockdown.
