GET ready to raise your glasses for the eighth year of Vineyards of Hampshire (VoH) Fizz Fest.

The event, held beside the River Test at Black Chalk Vineyard, in Wherewell, near Andover, takes place on Sunday, July 24 from 12pm to 4.30pm as VoH’s flagship event.

Attendees can learn about more than 20 different sparkling and still wines showcased by a group of Hampshire-based vineyards, which range from small family owned to large vineyards.

Andres Seden, sales director at Black Chalk Vineyard, said: “We’ve all missed Fizz Fest and it’s so good to be back for 2022.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming wine lovers from near and far to meet our vineyard teams and taste our beautiful wines in the stunning Hampshire countryside setting at Black Chalk.

"And this year, we’ll be introducing our newest member, Louis Pommery England, to our beautiful county’s favourite wine and food festival.”

Bookings are now open for tickets as well as exclusive masterclasses in a wine workshop barn and pre-bookable vineyard and winery mini tours.

Visitors can enjoy a drink from The Fizz Bar or The Cabinet Rooms cocktail bar of Winchester.

Hampshire Street Food will be serving tasty treats from local Hampshire food producers which can be enjoyed sat on hay bales listening to a live band.

Tickets cost £25 per person which includes wine tastings. Masterclasses are from £20 per person per event and vineyard tours are £10.
