THE OVERTON Black Arrows performed well at an ‘all-British’ archery competition.
The team hosted the All British Field Archery Championships 2018 in the North Wessex Downs AONB, near Kingsclere.
The two-day competition saw 140 competitors from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland compete.
Jodie Buckner came first in the U15s ladies recurve category, while father Richard came eighth in the gentleman’s recurve. Club chairman Steve Allam came 16th in the same category.
Bill Jones shot in the Barebow category, coming 17th.
England took home this year’s team event.
