ST MICHAEL’S Hospice welcomes people to its Light up a Life remembrance service .

The service allows those wh o wish to remember love d ones the opportunity to dedicate a ‘star’ in memory;.the stars are beams of light that are projected into the night sky.

Stars can be dedicated via the Hospice website or by contacting the Hospice but to be featured in the order of service dedications must have been receive d by November 27.

With a predicted 800 people attending the service , the Hospice is aiming to generate over £30,000.

The event is free to attend and open to all with the Hospice hoping to attract as many people as possible to remember loves ones that cannot be with them this Christmas .

There will be performances from the Basingstok e Silver Band, the Ooh Mama ladies choir and Viables Voices Choir.

The service will be taking place in the Hospice grounds on Sunday, 3 December, starting at 6pm.
