AN MP met an imam when Maria Miller visited Basingstoke Mosque, in Sarum Hill, to speak to members of the town’s Muslim community.
Mrs Miller said: “It was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet Imam Mohammed and members of the local Muslim community. The mosque has an important role to play in an increasingly diverse Basingstoke.
“I am pleased to be working with the imam and his team to ensure our local Muslim community has a strong voice in the borough.”
