A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision with a tractor yesterday (April 26).
Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision, which happened at 11.40am in Ridge Lane, Newnham near Basingstoke.
A 62-year-old man, from Upton Grey, suffered fatal injuries after colliding with an agricultural tractor.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his next-of-kin have been informed, and are being supported by specialist officers.
Formal identification procedures are ongoing.
A 25-year-old male, who was driving the tractor was uninjured.
Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the collision are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
They would also like to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision.
