HUNDREDS of tributes have been posted on social media to a talented young DJ who died last Friday.

Carys Murdock, better known by her stage name Enfuza, was found hanged in Basingstoke on the evening of August 5.

Facebook has been flooded with tributes for the 22-year-old, who made a big impact through the neurofunk drum and bass music she produced.

Paying tribute to the former Basingstoke College of Technology student, Andreas Johnstone said: “Carys was an absolutely incredible person, talented and passionate about everything she did.

“The thing I appreciated most about Carys was the fact she cared about people and their problems and was always someone you could turn to in times of need.”

Ben Miszti added: “Lost a true legend, friend and a top DJ/producer today who was on her way to greatness. Massive thoughts will be with family and friends.”

It was the music of the former Brighton Hill Community School student, who lived in Kempshott Lane, which made a lasting impression on so many people and also took her to different venues and festivals across the UK.

Kirk Uy continued the tributes, adding: “I will never forget the day we met at The Orchard jamming to our acoustic guitars and talking about how music changes people’s lives and how we can use it to bring people together.”

Loren Mancini added: “A one of a kind girl with such a talent, never failed to make me smile.”

As a tribute to the drum and bass DJ, friend Alexander Ushakov produced the song ‘Departure’ to honour her memory.

On Tuesday evening friends and family gathered at The Bounty, in Bounty Road to raise a glass to Carys, with her mum Clare Bone adding: “She will always be loved and never forgotten.”

North East Hampshire coroner’s office confirmed that Miss Murdock had been found hanged and that an inquest is due to be held in October.

The funeral will be held at Basingstoke Crematorium on August 26, at 4.15pm with the wake held at the Kestrel, in Buckingham Parade.
